DESCRIPTION OF BLACKLIST
1. FRAUDULENT PRACTICES - DECEITFUL CONDUCT
Lordnuehl commissioned a project and paid a deposit of $129 USD to initiate the work. At the time, the commission was approximately halfway complete. Per the agreed terms, if Lordnuehl had chosen to cancel the commission through the proper channels, the developer would have been entitled to partial compensation for the work completed.
However, instead of following the appropriate procedures, Lordnuehl faked his own death, impersonating his girlfriend on his account and within Nourity’s Board of Directors group chat to claim that “Cody” (Lordnuehl) had passed away. Subsequently, he initiated a chargeback through Stripe, resulting in a full refund of the payment. Due to this fraudulent action, the developer received no compensation for the work completed, effectively making this an act of scamming.
Relevant Legal Provisions Infringed:
Breach of Contract (Common Law): Legal failure to fulfill the terms of a contract, which is enforceable in civil court.
Fraud (18 U.S. Code § 1341, 1343): Engaging in fraudulent conduct for financial gain, including deceit, misrepresentation, or omission of material facts.
2. USE OF BLACKMAIL AND THREATENING
Lordnuehl had departed from Nourity under the false pretense of his own death. At the time, he retained files from several ongoing commissions collectively valued at approximately $10,000 USD. Without access to these files, Nourity faced potential legal liability for breach of contract with its clients.
After it was revealed that Lordnuehl was, in fact, still alive, he attempted to leverage control over the situation by demanding reinstatement to his former positions — Chief Engineering Officer, Chief Executive Officer, and Head of Business Development. He stated that these terms would need to be met in order for him to either continue working on the active commissions or release the associated files.
Although Lordnuehl claimed he would continue managing these projects, he repeatedly failed to respond to client inquiries in commission tickets and direct messages for weeks at a time, causing significant concern among clients. Furthermore, he threatened to spread false information to clients to persuade them to request full refunds for their commissions.
In an effort to de-escalate the situation and prevent further harm, Nourity Limited Liability Company reluctantly agreed to Lordnuehl’s demands in order to reach a resolution. However, unbeknownst to him, the clients’ eligibility period for chargebacks had already expired, rendering his threats ineffective.
3. SCAMMING & FRAUDULENT ACTIVITES
Prior to joining Nourity, Lordnuehl had a documented history of engaging in fraudulent activities and continued similar behavior even during the period when he was falsely presumed dead. Nourity became aware that Lordnuehl was still alive after a community member submitted a report alleging that he had scammed them.
According to the report, Lordnuehl deceived the individual into granting him ownership access to their server in exchange for a promised payment of $240 USD, which he subsequently failed to deliver. This incident confirmed his continued involvement in unethical and fraudulent conduct outside of Nourity.
